Dr. M. V. V. S. MURTHI - Chairman

Dr. M. V. V. S. Murthi is the Promoter of VBC Group of Companies.He is a post graduate in Arts, graduate in law and was conferred Ph.D in 'Public Administration' by Andhra University in the year 2002.   He started his career as an advocate and subsequently became an Industrialist. He was Member of 10th & 13th Lok Sabha from Visakhapatnam Constituency in 1991 & 1999 respectively. The GITAM University is the brain child of Dr.Murthi which imparts education in different fields .He has rich experience in Ferro Alloys, Power and Educational Institutions for the last 45 years. He has held several prestigious positions in public and private sector enterprises like Chairman VUDA and various prestigious positions in  Visakhapatnam Port Trust, Life Insurance Corporation of India, All India Radio and Regional Direct Taxes etc.  He is a Chairman of VBC Group of Companies.
